Walking: Sevilla is compact enough to be explored by foot, almost all tourist sites are in the center and are best reached by foot, during summer time make sure to cover you head and drink a lot.
Bicycles: Being fairly flat, Sevilla is a good city for bicycling, but it has few major problems:
Roads condition is not at its best, bike theft is a big problem and there is not a 100% secured way to protect your self from being theft. The city of Sevilla operates a cheap bicycles rent service you can use it for a day or a week, and you can sign up at the kiosks located next to the bike racks.
Tram:
Seville’s tram was inaugurated in Oct 2007; it has only 4 stops and a total of 1.3 km. It is not much but during summer days it’s a big help if you need to get to the airport bus for example.
A single ride costs 1.20€ and you may purchase your ticket at the automatic machine just out side the tram.
This only line operates from 06:00-02:00 with departures every 10min.
